In 2011, AI Logistics entered into an exclusive agreement with a Iraqi asset based company to cater for our ever growing demand for ground services. This agreement provided us with more than 200 assets, low beds, flatbeds, reefer trucks, and MHEs (Material Handling Equipment). We elevated the standards of those assets by vetting them locally (through our HSE department), and by giving their drivers specific defensive driving courses geared towards the roads of Iraq. In addition to our own vetting, these assets and drivers have gone through a meticulous evaluation process with leading Oil & Gas Operators in Iraq.

 

Our Ground Transportation Services cover every corner of Iraq. Our drivers are familiar with the roads, checkpoints, and risks involved in moving your valuable cargo/s through Iraq. Our security team offers convoy escorts throughout the country and are available on demand. Our project team has done detailed road surveys to all major destinations; this exercise gave our our road freight team the tools necessary to select the proper equipment for each destination.

 

 Whether your cargo is heading to Badra, Majnoon, Rumeilah, Halfaya, West Qurna or Duhok, rest assured that the road survey has been done, the truck has been vetted and checked prior to departure, the driver has been trained on the entry/driving through your Oil Field, and our security team is watching over and mitigating any risk that might arise.

 

By integrating our local knowledge with regional asset owning partners, we are now positioned to sell transportation solutions from anywhere in the region into Iraq. This new product caters to our regional clients who want an alternative to a simple air or ocean freight service.
